The careful planning, coordination and execution of every element, big or small. We handle all day-of details, including set-up and coordination with flowers, lighting, caterers, sound and music, rentals, photo and video, and entertainment.

Our full-service catering is also offered separately, with an excellent food selection, bar set-up and unmatched service from our experienced staff. We guide you through curating the perfect menu for you and your guests.

Thirty-five years in hospitality. Fifteen running Palm Events.

Johanne has delivered white-glove service to socialites, corporate leaders, government offices and the heads of international NGOs. Before Palm Events she ran event coordination and catering for a multi-location company — twenty years in corporate that taught her what makes a business thrive.

Since opening Palm Events she has planned and overseen some of Haïti's most elaborate weddings, social and corporate events, with concierge-style planning and a hospitable, unflappable approach.

How we work

From the first meeting to the day itself, nothing is left to chance.

Initial meeting & booking
We identify your event needs and assess the vision and scope of work.
Agreement & deposit
Official planning begins. Preliminary quotes are sent and the main creative partners — catering, entertainment, photography, video, essential rentals — are identified.
Design initiation
Client notes are discussed; ideas and preliminary budgets are established for the design process.
Client presentation
Initial design, mood boards, floor plans, details and floral designs. Your feedback guides any modifications.
Budget finalization
You determine your selections. Scope of work and budget are finalized, and the payment schedule is revised accordingly.
Production schedule
A production schedule is created with all creative partners.
Pre-production
All staff and details are confirmed; floral orders, custom items, shipments and deliveries are set.
Production
Set-up and coordination of every element on site.
Event final prep
Last checks before your guests arrive.
